Mr. Brown is widely viewed as the Dean of insurance defense attorneys in North Central Ohio.  He practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury and insurance law, as well as civil and appellate practice.  Mr. Brown attended Heidelberg College and The Ohio State University College of Law, Columbus, Ohio .  He served in the United States Air Force in the early 1950's before settling in Mansfield .  Presently serving as Of Counsel to the Firm, he has 45 years of legal experience practicing with the Firm.  Mr. Brown has spent countless hours during his professional career in service to the legal profession one of his passions.  He is Past President, Trustee and Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation.  In fact, in 1989, he received the Foundation's prestigious Life Fellow Award.  He is also the Past President of the Richland County Bar Association and the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys.  He has previously served on the Ohio State Bar Association's Executive Committee and Council of Delegates, as well as numerous OSBA committees, task forces and commissions.  He has served as a member of the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Grievances and Discipline, and on the boards of the Ohio Legal Center, Ohio Bar Title Company and Ohio Bar Liability Insurance Company.  He has been nationally recognized for his professional excellence by membership in the American College of Trial Lawyers.  Other professional associations and memberships include the Richland County Bar Association, International Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute and the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.
